Sunday shift for Aide Au Vietnam (AAV)
As Pr. Dr. Nguyen Viet Nhan had to leave for Hanoi in the afternoon, an important meeting was scheduled for early Sunday morning.
After a wake-up call at 6 A.M. and breakfast, we headed to an alternative office, as the main office building of OGCDC is being renovated, and started our meeting at 8 A.M.
Managing an aid project for Aide Au Vietnam, is not just walking around, shaking hands, and posing for pictures, but involves a lot of background work.
From fundraising back in Luxembourg (the beginning of every project), over the setup of contracts, the analyzing, managing, supervision, control, accounting, writing of reports up to the final discharge, is a long way and involves many helping hands.
Our main topic of the meeting was a common evaluation, of Aide Au Vietnam and the local partner organization OGCDC, of the co-financed project of the organic farm in Nam Dong, which has drawn to an end.
Furthermore, the contract of the project Impaired Hearing 2019 was signed, a 15.000,00 € project for the financing of hearing aids, speech therapy, medical examinations and transportation fees for 11 patients with hearing loss.
During the meeting, all other ONGOING projects between OGCDC and Aide Au Vietnam were analyzed and discussed.
