Today, on behalf of Aide Au Vietnam (AAV), my fellow Boardmember Minh Trang and I, visited the Tam Tong Mieu pagoda in District 3.
The pagoda has a small dispensary, that offers traditional Vietnamese medical treatments, such as acupuncture, reflex massages etc., as well as medicine to the poor people of the district.

Since 2013, Aide Au Vietnam has supported this dispensary with an annual donation of 5.000,00 € for medicine, as well as small medical equipment such as electrotherapy devices and acupuncture needles.
Receiving explanations on the different therapies applied by the volunteer medical staff, we also had a meeting with one of the leading monks of the pagoda and Mrs. An, the dispensary pharmacist, discussing the different needs of the dispensary.
Later on, sipping a cool drink, we both drew up a brief summary of our visit.
